To celebrate World Whiskey Day, Powers Irish Whiskey is teaming up with some of NI’s best artisans to host a series of 10 whiskey themed events and experiences this May.
Whether you’re a whiskey lover, foodie, coffee buff or culture vulture, there’s something to suit every taste. Level up your whiskey knowledge while experiencing something new as part of the Powers X WWD event series, throughout May up to World Whiskey Day on 21st May.

Calling all plant lovers! Join Kaz – the brains behind botanical lifestyle store, Wild Thing – for a crafty botanical workshop, cocktails, whiskey tasting and more.
You’ll learn to create a kokedama - a Japanese art form where you create a moss ball to display your hanging plants.

Kaz has travelled the world but is happiest here, in Donaghadee. Her love of design, plants, coffee and people combine to make Wild Thing a place quite unlike anywhere else.

GIVEAWAY TERMS & CONDITIONS - OF WHICH INSTRUCTIONS ARE PART OF
1. Promotion is run by Powers Whiskey NI (Dillon Bass Limited), in collaboration with Wild Thing (Donaghadee).
2. Giveaway open to Northern Ireland residents aged 18 years and over, except employees, families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the parties involved.
3. By entering, you agree to be contacted by the parties involved about the giveaway and for the parties to use the information submitted for any purpose in connection with the promotion.
4. Giveaway starts on the date/time that the social media giveaway post is posted, and closes on Sunday 8th May 2022 at midday on Powers Whiskey NI channels and Wednesday 10th May on Wild Thing channels.
5. One winner will be drawn at random from all entries on Powers Whiskey NI’s and Wild Thing’s social media giveaway posts. Winner will win 2 places at the Powers X Wild Thing event on 18 May 2022.
6. Entry is by commenting as per the requirements on the giveaway social media post on each of the accounts.
7. You can enter as many times as you like.
8. The winner will be drawn at random using a random number generator. Winner will be announced after the closing date/time mentioned above on the social media channels where the giveaway post has been posted. Winners will have 48 hours to accept prize after being contacted, otherwise a new winner will be drawn.
9. The winners may be asked to provide proof of ID - to verify age and residency - before they can be confirmed as the winner.
10. Prize is not transferable and no cash alternatives in whole or in part are available.
